Coach, 7 Buffalo City players selected for U18 international 'tests'


Phiwe Nomlomo of Selborne College will coach the SA Schools A side in the U18 International Series against England, Wales, France and Argentina in August.

Celebrated East London rugby coach Phiwe Nomlomo and seven young Buffalo City rugby stars have been selected for the SA Schools and SA Schools A teams, who will do battle with England, Wales, France and Argentina in August.


Phiwe, of Selborne College, will coach the SA Schools A side, where he will be assisted by Wessel du Plessis of Grey College.

Buffalo City will also be exceptionally well-represented on the field.


No fewer than seven schoolboy rugby players have been included in the two SA Schools squads who will contest the U18 International Series starting in August.


The teams will play six international matches, starting on 9 August.
