Congratulations Nicola Smith on being appointed the first woman manager of the King Phalo Airport, formerly East London Airport.
She joined the King Phalo team after running Kimberley Airport for two years, during which time it won an airport service quality (QSA) award.
The King Phalo Airport has experienced the fastest growth in South Africa, post-lockdown, with passenger growth at aorund 34%, compared to an average of 10% for other airports.
